I have finally found the time to put together pretty much everything I have bought in the last month. There are a few make up items missing but I may do a separate post for them. Looking back on everything, I have really managed to bag some bargains in the last month or so!
So firstly, my bright yellow summery flower dress, which my mum found actually in the New Look sale for just 10 pound. It is so easy to wear and can be a daytime of an evening dress, seriously happy with this purchase. I couldn’t get a decent photograph so I opted for a blurred one and a close up shot of the fabric/pattern.
Seeing as I am usually one to opt for darker colours, it tends to be rather difficult for me to find things I am comfortable wearing during the summer, but this grey tank top is pretty decent. The zip gives it just a little bit of a grungy edge that I prefer with my clothing. The denim shorts I am wearing here were an ebay purchase, only ten pounds including p+p - Bargain :D
The blue shorts were £3 from Primark and the turquoise/cream lace shorts were £4 in the New Look sale, both are ridiculously comfortable and I would say easy to wear during the day or, like I do a lot of the time, for sleeping in.
My tartan dress, oh my new tartan dress <3 I haven’t worn it out yet because I am going to save it for freshers week. But how gorgeous is it?! It is not traditional tartan because there is an orange colour in it instead of green, and seeing as I bought this dress before I decided on dying my hair - I am very impressed with how it matches my new locks.
The strawberry sunglasses were only £1 from Primark and me and the mother decided to get a pair each because they were beyond ridiculously cheap and they look cute right?
Last but certainly not least my tartan shoes (if you haven’t guessed I really do have a weakness for tartan) After my last pair of tartan shoes, these really cute comfortable ballet pumps from Matalan, were completely destroyed by…well just by life I guess, I have been looking for some decent tartan shoes and these are just..ahhh perfect. I may even say I like them more than the last pair….I am just so impressed by how cheap and comfortable they are, I want to wear them everyday!!
The title of this post is named after the song ‘Heartbreaker’ by Metronomy, yet another band playing at Reading Festival this year.
