Friston Forest

I visited some friends in Brighton over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and instead of staying in doors all day we decided to take a drive out to Friston Forest. It was a shame that the weather wasn't as nice as it has been the day before, I definitely didn't bring enough layers.

We packed up a picnic and a blanket and got ourselves ready for the outdoors (to a certain degree). We passed a few families out for walks with their young children and dogs when we had set up for lunch. They all made cute remarks about the weather and that there was plenty of potential for the dogs - we may have gone slightly overboard with all of the picnic snacks. It is nice to get some fresh air and spend the day outdoors sometimes, I should know that as my office is based on at an activity centre. I am definitely going to look into finding some more places to explore this year - I feel healthier and happier just looking at my step count for the day, not to mention I was able to have a nice catch up with these two lovely ladies.

(The crouching is hilarious - we had no idea we were very much in the shot)

  1. Your photos are beautiful! I really need to explore around Brighton a bit more and I love the idea of going with friends. Healthy and a good way to catch up. I demand you move back immediately and we go exploring x

    1. Ahhhhh thanl you Sam <3 As soon as I move back we need to get in some exploring! I had so much fun (be it a windy day) but there are so many places in East Sussex that need exploring...I feel like I have barely seen the place!
