You and Me ‘Cause That’s What It’s For

It is the start of Father’s Day weekend and with summer almost in sight it has spurred a BBQ in the boyfriend’s family. I have cordially been invited to feast on some deliciously grilled and roasted British grub…great place to tell them that I am a vegetarian.

But the food obviously wasn’t my only worry for a day like today - will it rain? Is it windy out? WHAT DO I WEAR! I didn’t want to look to dressed up, after all it is just a BBQ, but then I am meeting people I have never met for the first time so I wanted to make a good first impression.

I opted for my red Romwe waterfall skirt that I waited almost a month for, partnered with an ever essential H&M sleeveless shirt. That shirt is ridiculously light and just great to wear in the summer heat because it goes with so much! I also sported my new ram necklace I got in the sale at Accessorize last week, it only cost something around £2.70 and for a cute necklace that is a decent price. I topped my BBQ outfit off with my babies…my creepers.

The title of the post was inspired by the constant reference to the song ’Warriors Dance - Prodigy’ throughout the day, more Father’s Day madness tomorrow
