Pretty dresses, coats, hats, fascinators, bags, shoes, jewellery, movie posters and tea and cakes - all just thrown in my face in such a tremendous fashion. Of course my student budget was not to be pushed (as I could have quite easily have blown it all) but there was no way that I was leaving that place without a souvenir. One of the first stalls I stopped to take a look at was the ever so elegant jewellery ofhttp://www.vintageinspiredjewellery.co.uk/ and my eye was drawn to a peter rabbit pendant, one of my most precious childhood memories in jewellery form was definitely something that needed to be added to my collection. The prices were ever so reasonable for such cutesy pieces that will obviously draw a lot of attention to any outfit.
Alas, as Movember is among us now I thought it was only fitting that I wear something in homage to this great month and with a little help fromhttp://shop.minimummouse.com/ I was capable of finding this adorable tash ring. I like that it is not too overbearing on my hand and can be mistaken for something generic…let’s just say I feel a lot cooler wearing it.
The rest of the fair was great, it was a memorable day out that transported you back in time, I honestly walked out feeling like I should 1) be wearing a pretty dress everyday no matter what the weather 2) that I should definitely take a lot more care and make more effort with my hair and makeup on a day to day basis and 3) why have I not become some kind of vintage queen already?! I look forward to the return of the Vintage Fair to B-Town, I will definitely be saving up the pennies for a little spending spree next time around.
