This Is The End - Film Review

If you haven't seen this film and are a fan of Seth Rogan, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride or Craig Robinson....then get yourself to a cinema screen my friends this is a MUST SEE! Even if you don't know who any of those guys are it's still a hilarious film. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so if you don't want to hear any more about it...be gone.

To be fair as apocalypse stories goes, this one really nails it, I think if I had written an apocalypse story/film myself the only difference would have been me throwing Ellen Page in the mix but what can I say...always a sucker for Ellen. The film is full of laughs, references to past films of all the actors involved and just hilariousness. So the basics are that Jay goes to visit Seth in L.A and they end up going to James Franco's house warming party. There are loads of celebs just hanging out and having fun, but when there is some kind of unexplainable earthquake and people start dyeing...OH then it gets real good. The survivors barricade themselves inside Franco's new gaff and try to wait out the weird happenings from outside, but when their food and water supplies reach nil it is time for some of them to go look for more supplies. When the guys finally figure out what is going on outside of the house and why they are still on this hell hole of an earth they try to prove themselves to be taken up to heaven. Demons, semen, fire, cocaine this movie has a lot to give and if rumours of a round 2 are true, what are you waiting for!?!

5 stars, definite must see!
