I Just Want To Save You While There's Still Something Left To Save

So February has been and gone and I have still not really been listening to any music that has been released in 2014, I appear to be stuck in the 1990's and progressing to the 2000's. I will get there eventually.

City and Colour - The Hurry and The Harm - So at the beginning of the month I was lucky enough to go and see this beautiful man play in BTown. I was an incredible gig and so I have been listening to a lot of City and Colour and reminiscing on how sweet that night was. Honestly Dallas Green's voice was better than I could have ever hoped.

We Are Scientists - Rules Don't Stop - Another band that reminds me of something from a few years ago. I covered a We Are Scientists track for one of my friends in their Music Technology A level. It was great fun and I just find them totally effortless to listen to.

Pearl Jam - Jeremy - Sucker for a bit of Pearl Jam, I wanted to go and see them a few years ago when they headlined Isle of White fest, but I didn't get around to it. This year they are doing a hug Milton Keynes Bowl gig and I am not going....super sad times.

Vance Joy - Riptide - I heard this song on the radio a while back and I didn't catch the name of it. But it stuck in my head, it is so happy, it is somewhat mesmerizing. It came on recently in a nightclub and (although slightly inebriated) it made me feel so happy, I am so happy with how social I have been recently and the amount of incredible and crazy people I have met, this song just reminds me of that.

Tim Minchin - You Grew On Me - One of my favourite comedians (beside Ricky Gervais) I love this man. His ginger hair, his straight teeth, his auzzie accent...his hilarious lyrics and amazing and totally mesmerizing piano skills. I rekindled my adoration for his quick wit recently and have been listening to a lot of Minchin.

Maybe I will make an effort to listen or find some new albums in the next month?
