You Don't Know What It Feels Like

We may be a week into April, but my music muses of March are still fresh in my mind. With the last month brought a lot of travelling and a lot of different emotions. There were big events, birthdays, Mother's day and too much to even begin to remember right now. So here are my top 5 from the last few week.

Bonobo - Kiara - At the beginning of the month I was lucky enough to go and see this wondrous man at the Brighton Dome. It was a crazy experience; if you fancy reading about it I wrote a review for The Verse here. Bonobo always manages to fit whatever mood I am in.

River Becomes Ocean - Hello Stranger, Goodbye Friend - Ah these boys. Some friends of mine I have met in the last few months, have been getting their act together in the last year! Although this EP was only released on the 28th of May I got a little sneak peak as I wrote a cheeky review for them. I honestly cannot stop listening, they are too addictive....I can't wait to get myself to a live show. This is the video for their first single In Love Again.

Walk The Moon - Anna Sun - This is a band I discovered in the last month just from listening to the radio stations on Spotify. I love Spotify, I think it is a brilliant service (super cheap if you are a student) and I have really started to find some new music loves (even though a lot of them may be from years ago) This song is so fun and it definitely reminds me of the best times of March.

The Prodigy - Take Me To The Hospital - So I may have seen the Sonisphere line up and got seriously excited. I have wanted to go for the last few years and just never had anyone to go with or the time/money. I have no idea what July will bring me this year but listening to Prodigy has certainly livened up my March.

Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston - It was St Paddy's day wasn't it?! I know they are not Irish, but they have their style. This song makes me way too happy, it makes me want to drink and have fun with my friends. It is such a good tune and....they are playing Sonisphere, damnit I need to be at this Festival
